Lesson One: Appeasement

Here's a newsflash for the dopes out there. Appeasement doesn't work. Never has, never will. You can't win the hearts and minds of your enemies. That's a myth propogated by people who don't read history books and stupid politicians grasping for sound bites.

Here's the harsh reality. Survival requires that you defeat your enemies before they defeat you. When your enemy vows to kill you, your only recourse is to kill them first. Failure to achieve this rather simple goal usually results in your own destruction. Half-assed attempts at war, such as the current situation in Iraq, are untenable. You must destroy your enemy with absolute ruthless efficiency. Here is another harsh reality: civilians die in wars. They've been killed enmasse in every war we've won. Nobody likes to talk about it but it's true. Again, read the history books. Harry Truman didn't drop nukes on military bases, folks. He knocked out two cities full of civilians...and the war ended.

The terrorist bastards we are facing today are like cockroaches. For every one you see, there are hundreds hiding behind the walls. You have to use the same tactics on them as the exterminator uses on the roaches. Kill every last one of them. I don't want to "bring them to justice" a la George Bush. I don't want to "win their hearts and minds". I don't want "regime change". I want them dead. If you kill all the terrorists there won't be any more terrorism. It's callled logic. People say it can't be done. Really? Check out those pesky history books again. Their full of examples of the destruction of entire groups of people. You don't even have to kill all of them. Just kill enough of them so that the others are in constant fear for their lives. It's hard to bomb people when your running for your life.
